Cast Assignments Sent Home

Due to the size of our student body, we have made the decision to separate the school into two separate casts: the Red Cast and the White Cast. Please check your students' purple communication folders to find information about which cast your student will be performing with.

 

Rehearsal Schedule

All rehearsals for K-5 students will take place during school hours at PAA until the week of show when some rehearsals will take place at The Lerner Theatre. More information will be shared with more details in the coming weeks. 6th-8th Grade students were previously informed about their casting in this musical in the fall semester. 

 

Jazz Shoes

If your student does not yet have jazz shoes, please get a pair soon as most all students will be wearing them during the performance. If anyone is having difficulty getting jazz shoes for your student, please contact Kami Brenneman at [email protected]. 

 

Performances

Red Cast: Saturday, March 14th 10:00am

White Cast: Saturday, March 14th 2:00pm

NOTE: In addition to our school performances, there are also three community performances of Suessical that are not our PAA All School Musical Performances. (March 13th at 7:30pm; March 14th at 7:30pm and March 15th at 2:00pm). Please Be Sure to select the correct Premier Arts Academy performance based on your student’s cast assignment when purchasing tickets.

 

Tickets

Tickets will be available for purchase beginning Friday, January 9th directly through The Lerner Theatre Box Office. Please be sure to purchase tickets for the desired performance based on your student's cast (Red or White). Don't forget to share that information with your friends and family to help guide them to the correct performance! Cast lists will be shared with the Lerner Theatre Box Office to help guide visitors and callers to the appropriate performance time.

 

Adults: $17.15 (includes Box Office Fees)

Children (12 and under): $12.00 (includes Box Office Fees)

 

NOTE: The Lerner comes with a Facility Fee for every ticket whether it is purchased in person, by phone, or online. We strongly suggest purchasing tickets in person or over the phone as online sales are subjected to an additional fee. Premier Arts/Premier Arts Academy does not gain from any of these fees.

CAST GROUPS BY GRADE/CLASS

Seussical Costuming Needs:

All Costume Pieces need to be turned in to school by Wednesday March 4th. 

Each individual costume piece must be labeled with the student’s first and last name and brought to school in a labeled gallon zip lock bag Wednesday March 4th. Please label the ziplock bag with First and Last Name. 

See detailed information below pertaining to your student’s role in the PAA Seussical  production to find the clothing pieces that need to be provided for your student(s).

Kindergarten - 5th Grade Students will need to provide ONE plain T-shirt (see color options by grade below), Black Pants and Black Jazz shoes. PAA will transport the black jazz shoes students currently use in Dance/Theatre for this production. If you have not yet provided jazz shoes for your student, or your student has outgrown them, please send those in with your student ASAP. Need assistance providing your student with jazz shoes please email Kami Brenneman [email protected] 

All shirts, pants or socks should be a solid color with no design, logos, or decorations.

Please make sure items fit, Clothing items that are too big or too small can be hard for students to dance in. All personal clothing items provided will be returned to students at the conclusion of this production.
